HR Manager Job Information
Human Resources Managers help develop and implement policies relating to the effective use of employees in a company. The overseeing of recruitment, interviews and hiring of new staff is a large part of the role. However, HR managers are expected to consult with higher executives on the correct strategic planning. HR management is effectively an approach of managing people in an organisation. It is designed to maximise efficiency as well as employee performance. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing staff handbooks and advising on employees’ pay. The role has room to advance to an HR Director. HR Management is a necessary part of every organisation, so there are no shortages of available opportunities in this field.

HR Manager Job Requirements
Employers will be looking for degrees when choosing applicants. A degree in a relevant subject like business management, social administration or just business is needed to become an HR manager. There are no specific requirements for postgraduate degrees, but for senior roles, it will assist in the application. As a highly competitive field, training schemes are a way to increase chances of employment.  As usual, work experience is a good way of becoming an HR manager as employers look for applicants who already have the necessary skills. Work experience can be found in administration roles within HR Departments. To become an HR manager, many employers expect applicants to have a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). The CIPD is the main professional body to accredit and award professional human resources (HR) qualifications.

HR Job Market Trends
A survey by Deloitte revealed that the high levels of employment coupled with economic uncertainty resulting from Brexit, HR management is needed now more than ever to be able to develop the best employees. Human resources managers can expect to earn around £30,000 per annum.
