In 2016, the UK innovation charity NESTA named Eastbourne as a “creative cluster”, with almost 1,000 creative firms. The town is also home to the UK’s largest book wholesalers, who have a 350,000 sq ft warehouse facility there. Gardners Books employs people to pack and ship books.
