The requirements depend on the type of job applied for. For example, in order to become an online tutor, employer’s expect at least a Bachelor’s degree. Whereas when it comes to copywriting and contenting writing, a portfolio with a good range of examples is beneficial to getting the job. However, if an applicant is applying to become a call centre representative, employers will simply require GCSEs (and sometimes A-Levels) as well as previous work experience in the industry. Candidates may be required to work in an office before potentially beginning to work from home part-time.
