We are looking for a Content and PR Advisor to join our growing team! Reporting to the Senior Marketing and Communications Advisor (senior advisor), the Marketing and Communications Advisor (Content and PR) is responsible for the managing and delivering marketing communications for the firm. Responsibilities include:
Brand:
Alongside the marketing communications team, ensure the external brand of ‘economics with imagination’ is woven into all written marketing and recruitment communications.
Core communications/ projects/ campaigns:
Work alongside the senior advisor and BD Advisors to develop cross practice ‘think pieces/opinion pieces’ and/or campaigns and oversee delivery.
Work alongside the senior advisor to develop and deliver firm wide projects or technologies related to brand and communications, e.g. podcast series.
Developing regular cross practice client communications, including quarterly client newsletter.
Use measurement tools to review engagement with our marketing communications and suggest improvements as a result.
Develop and/or edit content for marketing communications.
Own and actively manage the overall content schedule, organising around priorities, timings and balance between topics and channels.
Help to develop and improve processes to ensure smooth and effective delivery of content and campaigns to agreed standards and deadlines.
Website:
Use measurement tools to review engagement with firmwide campaigns and content
Develop and/or edit content for the website
Contribute to ideas for website developments and improvements
Ensure website content is uploaded in a timely manner
Social media:
Create and upload social media posts.
Work with the comms team to create and implement social media content and campaigns for cross practice and firm-wide initiatives (e.g. D&I and Employer brand).
Identify new trends to assist in the management, measurement and development of our social media channels.
Media and PR:
Manage Media and PR enquiries and campaigns.
Build external relationships with journalists and collaborators.
Work with BD Advisors to help the practices to build their understanding of PR and relationships with industry press.
Help individuals to build their external profile, in line with the firm’s brand and objectives
Work with the Clients Director and senior advisor to develop a Media and PR strategy.
Introduce effective PR/Media monitoring and regular reporting.
Manage our PR/Media monitoring software account.
Internal communications:
Work with the Internal Comms advisor to effectively share knowledge and information and promote content for cross practice campaigns, firm-wide initiatives and PR/Media coverage.

Administration and record keeping:
Ensure activities that fall under your management are managed well and measured to ensure continuous improvements can be made.

The ideal candidate will have:
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent knowledge and use of corporate social media platforms including LinkedIn and Twitter
Worked with a CMS (ideally Umbraco)
Writing engaging and on-brand copy for marketing materials and/or news releases
Practical experience of developing integrated marketing campaigns, including traditional and digital channels, PR and internal communications
Marketing experience within a professional services environment
Working with and advising senior people
Worked within teams and across various levels of accountability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Confident to challenge and share innovative ideas
Strong time management and the ability to prioritise independently.
