Our Distribution Centre (DC) is growing and to support this growth we are looking to recruit new team members. As part of our growth our DC operating hours will be between 6am and 8:30pm, and our successful candidates will need to be flexible around these operating hours.
Distribution Centre Assistants work across all areas of production from store replenishment, e-Commerce fulfilment, goods intake and general DC responsibilities, making sure that all tasks are completed in line with individual KPIs and service level agreements
What will you be doing:
Within your role your main areas of responsibility will include:
Duties relating to Goods In, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Printing, Despatch, Goods.
Out and Fan ID production in line with individual task KPIs and business wide performance
Completing daily work sheets accurately and submitting on a daily basis to allow detailed analysis of working patterns and performance to be reviewed.
Contributing to all aspects of stock management, including goods intake, stock control, stock taking and general DC duties and responsibilities.
Supporting and training all new staff (including agency) within all DC duties and responsibilities in line with site specific guidelines and standards.
Where trained and qualified in line with business needs; The use of the Fork Lift Truck to assist with the stock management and replenishment of stock from bulk locations within the DC, as well as stock management and auditing of stock within bulk locations. Ensuring all safety checks and servicing is completed
Where trained and an official license holder in line with business needs; The ability to drive both a commercial van and also an LGV vehicle to assist with the delivery of stock to retail and other external locations.
Completing safety checks and vehicle management applicable to all users of all vehicles in the form of daily and weekly checks and servicing.
Adhering to legal requirements of an LGV driver as outlined in the terms of the CPC Driver qualification permit.
Loading the van with stock ready for delivery to our stores, delivering to these stores, and then offloading the delivery in conjunction with the retail store team.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates to join our team who have previous warehouse experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. You will also have a "can do attitude" and have an understanding of warehouse management systems and processes within a Distribution Centre
PI Skills - You will need to have a good head for numbers and an inquisitive nature, excellent communication skills with an good eye for detail. As well as being highly organised and have a strong ability in using MS Office Excel. The ability to meet strict deadlines whilst under operational pressure and word and communicate effectively to all levels of the business. The role entails being able to carry out stock checks and PI`s investigating any discrepancies. Maintenance of stock accuracy by conducting regular PI counts within agreed timescales. Identifying and reporting any discrepancies, QC processes to management and able to problem solve.
Our Distribution Centre team is part of our wider Merchandising team and you will work closely with all areas of the Merchandising team and the wider Club.
