This role is focussed on three key areas including specialist systems, commercial insights and compensation/reward. Playing a collaborative role they will work with the VP, HR, Central HR team and Pillars to understand the business, identify gaps/opportunities and deliver technical software solutions, in addition to maintain and optimising current systems, producing tailored commercial insights and coordinating our compensation planning and reward process with a focus on technology, data and insights.
Specialist Systems: HR Software solutions outside of core HRIS/Payroll/absence management
Ensure current systems are well maintained and configured correctly: Performance Management, Engagement, L&D and HR Escalation platform Identify technology gaps and opportunities with VP, HR, Central HR team and Pillars with goal of aligned systems/approach when possible. Be a market expert on specialist systems, meeting with and understanding potential partners in growth areas Source and evaluate technology solutions, critically evaluate & provide system recommendations to bridge technology and insights shortcomings. Collaborate with knowledge experts in the team in order to understand commercial needs, gaps and opportunities Project manage new specialist systems including coordination with internal stakeholders and management of data protection & compliance matters Be first point of contact for all technical queries and support in the HR team for specialist systems
Commercial Insights: All staff insights outside of workforce and demographics
Project manage new commercial reporting and insight reports including coordination with internal stakeholders and full due diligence. Develop ROI reporting for key HR initiatives Ensure current systems have appropriate, regular reporting and insights that support business needs Identify commercial insights gaps and opportunities with Central HR team and Pillars with goal of aligned approach when possible Be a market expert on commercial insights, attending regular seminars and training sessions in order to ensure SEGA commercial insights are fully optimised and fit for purpose
Coordinate annual compensation planning process including pillar communication, validation and central presentation material Provide feedback and suggestions regarding Publishing methodology with a view to agreeing new approach with VP, HR Evolve central process with VP, HR, considering technology, insights and internal context/goals Coordinate SOE external benchmarking, considering how we optimise approach and making proposals to VP, HR Actively learn and understand compensation/reward best practice and opportunities.
Learn and understand the foundations of job evaluation, competency frameworks, pay grading and job levelling structures and methodologies in order to provide practical solutions and propose a phased, considered approach Project manage the implementation of a new levelling framework for SOE Publishing, with consideration of implementation across studios with Senior Management buy-in as part of a second phase – working closely with internal stakeholders including HR Advisor and VP, HR and the HR team at each step Identify and collaborate with agreed external stakeholders to aid in the implementation of job levelling and encourage adoption levels beyond SOE Publishing Review frameworks periodically to ensure they are fit for purpose
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Demonstrable experience driving projects from inception to execution, working with internal and external stakeholders. Highly technical proficiency and digital fluency with ability to assess software solutions business viability and ROI In-depth understanding of the commercial value of technology in HR and an understanding of the “bigger picture” Data, reporting and analytics focussed with an eye for detail and an ability to produce and communicate key commercial insights Knowledge of compensation and reward planning processes. Exceptional communication, presentation and analytical skills.
