Head of Therapy with Occupational Speech & Language Therapy Specialism
Band 7-8; pro-rata dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Hours; flexible up to 37 per week; term time only plus training, planning and preparation (neg)
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to shape and lead an enthusiastic Multi-Disciplinary Therapy Team. You will provide professional leadership and develop the provision of an effective and efficient integrated therapy service both for the College and our partners.
You will have a knowledge and experience of AAC systems and post graduate level dysphasia skills. You will be HPC registered; you will be responsible for assessing and providing professional guidance and reports for students at all stages. You will work in close conjunction with the education and pastoral teams to enable students to make continued progress in their education programmes. It is expected this role will be part of the wider College Leadership Team.
