Investment Associate, Underwriting (#24810040)

With the business going through an exciting period of growth & development we are currently looking for an Associate with Fund & Investment experience to support the Underwriting team.
Arrow established its independent fund management business and closed its flagship 1.7 EUR billion fund last year. As part of the growth of this division, we are recruiting an Associate to support the Fund Management side of the business as it continues to expand. Arrow’s Underwriting team is responsible for focusing on investment in corporate bankruptcies, single names and non-performing loan portfolios. There is also phenomenal exposure to senior leadership. This is a permanent role and will be based at our London offices with some home working. Due to the current pandemic this will be initially home based only.
The post holder will be joining a dynamic and industrious team and the role offers the opportunity to work alongside talented, senior members of a fast-paced agile organisation. There is also opportunity for progression, and strong performance will be quickly recognised and well rewarded.
What will you be doing?
Conducting, overseeing and presenting detailed analysis of potential portfolio/single name/bankruptcy acquisitions, including detailed risk and sensitivity analysis; Using, adapting and developing forecasting models to support investment decisions. Scoping, reviewing and understanding of due diligence reports on potential investment opportunities. Working with internal and external stakeholders to produce and present investment memorandums for consideration by the investment committee. Interact with Arrow-owned asset management platform in the due diligence and the preparation of the business plan Supporting the closing of the deals
Do you have?
A degree in a numerate degree (if you have obtained a postgraduate degree that would be advantageous) Good levels of experience in; investment banking, private equity fund or Big 4 Excellent Excel skills A strong self starter work ethic Excellent verbal and written communication skills?
