We are looking for a Lecturer in Organic Chemistry and Chemical Biology to build a world-leading research programme that complements or expands the existing Organic Chemistry research in the department, particularly in the areas of Chemical Sustainability, Chemistry for Life, or Chemistry and Light. This will include raising funds to support the research programme and publishing research outputs. The postholder will also be expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching of Organic Chemistry at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.This is a permanent post and is available from September 2021.Key RequirementsYou must have a PhD in Organic Chemistry, and research experience in the general field of organic chemistry. You must also have a good track record of publications in high-impact journals, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to time manage different roles.
