Permanent Veterinary Surgeon Chesterfield (VETSEEK-2176)
We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice close to Chesterfield Derbyshire.
This is a full-time role working 4 days per week with a 1:3 half weekend rota and a 1:6 full weekend rota.
The Vet will be joining a team of 5 other Vets in the beautiful Peak District. The practice is located close to the town centre. There is a friendly and longstanding team within the practice and offer a supportive and relaxed environment. They are fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitors and more.
The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the nearest animal hospital.
About the role.
The practice are looking for a Vet who is competent in routine surgeries and consultations and someone who enjoys establishing good working relationships with clients.
The Vet will be ambitious and keen to develop their clinical skills and looking to progress. They must have an empathetic attitude and have excellent communication skills.

You will be comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations.
