Morrison Energy Services is looking for Project Managers to register an interest in future opportunities within our Green Energy Business. Due to ambitious growth plans we are building a pipeline of experienced Project Managers to work on upcoming Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects.
As the Project Manager you will be part of our Green Energy Business who are responsible for the management and safe delivery of District Heating and Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects in line with agreed budgets and timescales.
The “Green Energy” sector is a new and emerging market for Morrison Energy Services. With a focus on Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure projects, this is a great opportunity to join a business unit with exciting growth plans for the next 12 months.
As the Project Manager your duties & responsibilities will be:
Strategic health, safety and environmental management and leadership to drive the highest standards
Delivery of the Project to the agreed time, cost & quality requirements
Manage and monitor the contractual program, ensuring critical path reporting is maintained
Work closely with the commercial team to understand Target Cost/Output/Contractual obligations/Monthly forecasting and expenditure
Manage change management during project life cycle, ensuring correct communication with stakeholders (internal and external), approval and instruction of change and ensuring whole risk and implications are considered
Drive risk management for the projects
Project Management of the principal subcontracts, ensure adherence to time, cost and quality deliverables
Undertake regular audits of site activities
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
Civil Engineering or Electrical Power experience
Previous experience in a site management role and ability to manage complex data
Proven problem solving experience
Advanced MS office including Excel, Word, Project and Powerpoint
Excellent planning and time management skills
Experience of producing business reports to strict deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Sound presentation skills and confident at presenting at all levels
Experience in implementing and embedding new processes
Full driving licence and willingness to travel
