Senior Analyst (#26790866)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to joins us. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that plays a key role in the business. This role will be based at our Manchester office with some home working. Due to the current Pandemic this will be initially home based only.
The overarching goal is to optimise the performance of debt collection and recovery portfolios by supporting the design, production and implementation of strategies.
What will you be doing?
Develop a deep analytical understanding of our customers, our data and available options Analyse data to identify and understand weaknesses and opportunities in collections strategy Understand business performance, risks and challenges to inform the design, production and implementation of collection strategies Identify the best solution to address weaknesses and opportunities; design, produce and test this solution Report on identified solutions to internal stakeholders, advising them of the key benefits and associated value Drive change through weekly update meetings to provide updates to the working group, but also to support directing the strategy of the portfolio Ensure that key stakeholders are kept aware of the progression of deliverables.
Is this you?
Educated to degree level – degree in a quantitative field e.g. data science/computer science/maths/statistics/physics/computer science/economics/operational research or relevant experience Strong Excel/ SQL application knowledge is required Innovative, ability to identify and suggest new ways of working and improving collections A logical and analytical approach to problem solving Strong communicator with positive influencing and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and an ability to lead on the end to end delivery of projects. Ability to synthesise complex ideas and analytical results and then present these in a clear and concise manner to internal stakeholders. Ability to engage multiple stakeholders to execute strategies. Effective prioritisation and organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities Commercial acumen and understanding of how a business works
