Full Job Description
The Launch Group are currently recruiting for Baggage Handlers
known officially as Ramp Agents for Swissport at Newcastle Airport.
Salary: £11.64 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week,
between Monday – Sunday (shift work)
Contract: Fixed term
until 31st October 2025 with an opportunity to become permanent.
Location: LNewcastle Airport
Driving Licence is
required

• Physically fit as lifting up to 32kg as required

Have a driver's license
• Fluent English speaker
•
Basic - intermediate computer skills
Requirements
Qualifications & competencies
• Flexible to
work a variety of shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and public
holidays)
• Ability to speak and understand the English
language
• Ability to travel to the airport at times where
public transport is not available
• Ability to follow
processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
• Willingness to work in inclement weather
• Able to
work in a manual handling environment and repeatedly lift up to 32kg
throughout a shift
• Able to work in some confined spaces
(aircraft hold)
• Able to work as part of a team in a
challenging environment
• Hold a full driving licence
(depending on operational needs)
• Previous experience working
in an aviation environment is desired
