ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER

BOURNEMOUTH

£40,000 - £45,000 + BONUS + TRAINING + BENEFITS

Due to the continued success of the business, my client are looking to add to their skilled design team with the addition of a Electronic Design Engineer.

We are looking for an ambitious Electronics Design Engineer. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on projects for the Defence and Military markets primarily.

THE ROLE:

• Design and develop electronic circuits and systems, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation using CAD software.
• Develop and debug firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electronic components.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to validate circuit designs and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems to optimize performance and reliability.
• Select and evaluate components and materials for use in designs, considering factors such as cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project planning activities.

THE PERSON:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in design.
• Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools.
• Experience with PCB design software. For example Altium designer or similar
• Strong understanding of embedded systems design and programming.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
