Job Description
Step Teachers are
working with a school looking for a qualified Health and Social Care
teacher who is enthusiastic about educating the next generation of
Health and Social Care Professionals. As a Health and Social Care
teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering
engaging lessons that cover various aspects of Health and Social Care.
This is a Long-Term Supply role starting in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities of a Health and Social Care Teacher:
- Teach Health and Social Care courses to a
diverse group of students.
- Develop curriculum materials
related to Health and Social Care.
- Provide support and
guidance to students pursuing careers in Health and Social Care.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Health and Social Care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Health and Social
Care program.
- Stay current with developments in the field of
Health and Social Care.
- Promote Health and Social Care
education within the school community.
- As a Health and
Social Care Teacher, you are responsible for planning and implementing
high-quality lessons for KS3 and KS5 learners.
Qualifications of Health and Social Care Teacher:
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- The ability to teach Health and Social Care at Second level.
- A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in Health
and Social Care.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Social Care
principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and
organisational skills.
- Passion for inspiring students to
pursue careers in Health and Social Care.
