Description
Located in the
heart of Mayfair, The Arts Club is one of London’s oldest private
members’ clubs and home to a community of members with a passion for
the creative arts, literature, and business. From distinguished art
exhibitions to fine dining, live music, and an exceptional programme
of events for members, the club remains at the heart of contemporary
cultural life in London.
At the heart of the club is the
Brasserie, offering an irresistible menu filled with Mediterranean
flavours and delicious dishes. We are currently looking for an
enthusiastic Senior Chef de Partie to join our
Brasserie team.
Successful Senior Chef de Partie
applicants will become part of a fun, dynamic team working
across all aspects of hospitality. Employee's also enjoy an extensive

- Salary: up tp £40,000 per annum (inclusive of
tronc) plus overtime paid
- 4 day week based on 45 hours

Responsibilities:
- Provide hands on kitchen
management whilst working in your section, demonstrate hygienic and
health & safety working practices throughout service
- Responsible for the preparation and execution of top quality
Mediterranean/Japanese dishes and recipes as directed by the Executive
Chef
- Maintaining high standards of cuisine during service to
ensure quality assurance and consistency of production
- Demonstrate excellent culinary and knive skills
- Provide a strong work ethic in the section and nurture demi
chefs in their learning and development
- Ability to work
flexible shifts and under pressure
Entry
Requirements:
We are searching for highly motivated
and experienced individuals, who have worked in a similar role. You
will be an excellent and confident communicator with exceptional
people skills. Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:
- City & Guilds or a professional cookery
qualification
- Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational
skills
- Impeccable appearance of personal grooming
- Confident, professional, resilient and disciplined
- Genuine passion and enthusiasm to learn
- Proficient
in English language
