Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with an established multi-channel business in the key recruitment of a Supply Chain Manager.

The Business

  • Our client are a growing DIY/Hardware business. They are part of a globally recognised group and are currently expanding globally.

The Role (Supply Chain Manager)

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure replenishment and supply chain strategies are developed and executed effectively up and down the supply stream and within the framework of the Global Supply Chain Strategy
  • Oversee the supply planning and stock management requirements of the category across all operations/business entities within the UK
  • Forecast and plan stock requirements to support buying activity.
  • Management and maintenance of the replenishment systems to optimise stock management. Action systems housekeeping activities at key stages to ensure that the database is able to support buying and supply chain planned activities
  • Build professional business relationships with suppliers at the appropriate contact level

Skills & Competency Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with a strong determination to achieve the best results.
  • Previous experience at Supply Chain Manager level
  • Understanding of a Far East supply base
  • Proficiency in Excel (analytics), PowerPoint, and ideally Slim Stock.
  • Strong organisational skills within a Supply Chain environment.
  • Ability to manage and define processes across all business assets and communications.
