Teacher of Health and Social Care

Location: Stockport

Salary: (Apply online only) per week (PAYE - No Umbrella Company)

Start Date: ASAP - December 2024

Job Overview

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Health and Social Care to join one of our esteemed partner secondary schools in Stockport. This role is starting ASAP until at least Christmas in the first instance.

As a Teacher of Health and Social Care key responsibilities will include:

  • Dynamic Lesson Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities and encourage all students to participate actively.
  • Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and understanding.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that fosters respect and enthusiasm for physical education

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching HSC at secondary level is preferred, though highly motivated newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for HSC.
