Vaccine Account Manager

Full-time, Hybrid (50/50)

South UK and Wales

We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager with experience in General Practice Federations (GP Federations) and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to join our collaborative project team. In this non-promotional role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging externally, developing, and delivering vaccination service offers and activities. This role entails partnering with external stakeholders, particularly PCNs and GP Federations, to ensure the successful implementation and long-term success of vaccination programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a project which focuses on enhancing vaccination services across various healthcare networks, aiming to reduce health inequalities and improve public health on a national scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy vaccination services effectively and efficiently within NHS networks.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the NHS, including GP practices and regional decision-makers.
  • Develop and approve necessary documentation in alignment with project requirements.
  • Ensure code-compliant development and deployment of services, tracking progress and success through appropriate measures and KPIs.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of NHS processes and compliance requirements, including the ABPI Code of Practice.
  • Establish and maintain a governance framework to monitor adherence to compliance requirements and mitigate risks.
  • Manage supplier engagement and contract management activities.
  • Project manage ongoing services with suppliers, including operational planning and deployment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in sales or key account management, preferably immunisation therapy area.
  • Strong understanding of non-promotional activities and compliance requirements, particularly within the healthcare sector.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and engage with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with NHS policies, strategies, and systems.
  • Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to assimilate complex data.
  • Successful track record of partnership working within the NHS, including with senior management.
  • Ability to work ethically and collaboratively across functions, including Medical, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to execute projects effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
