We Need You- Key Workers For COVID-19 We need Area Support Operatives to join us as part of our specialist cleaning crew, playing an integral part in consistently providing safe, clean and hygienic environments in which our customers can thrive. We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual, the successful candidate will be part of a team at Kensington Aldridge Academy- London, W12 0DE Position: Cleaner, Part Time, Permanent Location: Kensington Aldridge Academy- London, W12 0DE. Although the ad is for Kensington Alridge Academy the role is within one of their other schools Job type: Part Time, Permanent. Not a casual contract these are contracted hours Hours: Minimum 2 hours per day, possibly evening hours (to be agreed with you) Salary: £10.75 Per hour Interviews: As part of our process a telephone interview will take place. What you will do: You will travel to a variety of sites over an agreed geographical area, working individually or as part of a team. You will receive a planner provided on a weekly basis including the cover of planned absences, undertaking cleaning duties on a regular basis at a range of client premises where all necessary equipment will be available to you. This is not a casual contract this is for contracted hours; you will be paid from site to site (excluding travelling to the first site and travelling home). The cleaning of premises maintaining excellent hygiene standards in accordance with the site specification either individually or part of a team Duties will vary dependent on the site specification but must include: emptying of litter bins, dusting/polishing of furniture and fitments, damp wiping fixtures and fittings including sanitary ware, vacuum cleaning, damp mopping and using a variety of electrical cleaning equipment. Duties may also include other periodic tasks e.g., wall washing, carpet cleaning, resurfacing of floors, washing furniture and internal window cleaning. About you: A passion for providing an excellent customer service A strong team player Resilience Open and honest Reliable A proactive attitude Proactive about own learning and development Able to commit to flexible working hours BICS / NVQ Qualification, or equivalent would be of benefit Own transport is a requirement A full driving licence is required as you will be expected to drive between sites.
