Festival UK* 2022 will take place across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. As a celebration of UK creativity and innovation, the Festival will present a ground-breaking programme of ten new artistic commissions, each with the ambition of reaching millions globally.
The role of Artistic Planning Coordinator will drive forward the creative planning and artistic administration of a major public programme in 2022. Based within the creative team at Festival UK* 2022, you will support the Head of Commissioning and our partners to realise ten new large-scale commissions.
Drive forwards and deliver the priorities of the Creative Programming Team, working closely with the Head of Commissioning and Programme Director to establish systems, processes and administration across the department.
Coordinate all aspects of Artistic Planning & Administration for the Festival Programme, from complex scheduling / cross-partner coordination to supporting contracting and financial management processes.
Prepare key project documentation for each of the 10 major commissions.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare high-quality written reports, presentation materials and project updates.
Support the diary management of the team; including coordinating multi-stakeholder meetings, scheduling calls, logistics planning for group meetings, preparing relevant briefing materials and agendas, and taking minutes and following up actions where required.
Coordinate site visits, research trips with creative partners and project activity across the UK.
Pro-actively respond external partner queries to resolve issues and make real time decisions in line with procedures and established guidelines.
Ensure the integrated programming team across the Festival Company, EventScotland, Creative Wales and Belfast City Council is functioning effectively by supporting effective forward planning.
Skills and Experience Required
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Relevant professional experience in an administration or planning role.
Experienced in producing reports and presentations.
Advanced knowledge and experience of MS Office Suite products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Prior experience in a cultural organisation or creative sector role.
Experience of working with senior managers and stakeholders.
Knowledge of artistic commissioning and planning processes.
Experience of diary management.
Salary: £(phone number removed) per annum
