We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Patient Services Coordinator who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and organized, with exceptional customer service skills to join the newly established Leeds Institute of Emergency General Surgery within the Abdominal Medicine & Surgery CSU at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.The post holder will be an integral part of the Business Unit and should be able to communicate sensitivity and effectively with a wide range of people including medical staff, patients and colleagues. The roles and responsibilities associated with this post are to manage admin across all sites and staff to deliver services within Emergency General Surgery. Assistant Patient Services Coordinator will support the Assistant Business Manager, Service Manager and Matrons in delivering high quality services in Ambulatory Care and Emergency General SurgeryAssistant Patient Services Coordinator will manage their defined areas within the specialty and will be responsible for prioritizing work and reviewing working practices to ensure the effective running of the department. They will ensure that processes/procedures comply with legislation requirements covering Health & Safety, Data Protection and confidentialityA detailed knowledge of patient Administration Processes, Microsoft Office Packages and e-mail technology is essential.There is a frequent requirement for concentration where the work pattern is predictable.
