On behalf of a leading luxury care provider I am seeking a Care Home Manager to join the team at their luxurious purpose built Home in the Stockport area. This role is unique to the care home structure, as the Care Manager will support the Registered Manager in the smooth day to day running of this exceptional care home. This role is an additional support layer, providing support to the Home Manager and leadership to the deputy home manager.
My client is a well established privately run group of Residential Care Homes who's portfolio spans the North West and Yorkshire regions . An experienced and motivated individual is required to support the Registered Manager at this wonderful Residential Home which offers bespoke care for elderly residents and people living with Dementia. My client is seeking a strong, dynamic and experienced individual with drive and commitment who is seeking a new exciting challenge.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as Deputy Manager and have excellent leadership skills. In addition this could be the perfect opportunity for an experienced home manager who is seeking a step down. This post requires an individual who is focused and has the want to succeed.
Your main role will be to support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home which has an excellent reputation in the local area and robust support systems in place to ensure that you fulfil your full potential. As the Care Manager you will work in tandem with the Home Manager. You will be part of the senior leadership team and oversee a Deputy Home Manager and Senior Support Workers.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Experience of working within a Care Home at Deputy Manager level or above.
• Proven track record of successful staff management.
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards.
• Dynamic & Enthusiastic.
• NVQ Level 5 (Leadership and Management or working towards).
Duties will include:
• Overall responsibility of the home alongside the Manager.
• Staff management/appraisals/Training.
• Care plans/reviews/meetings.
This is a wonderful opportunity that is not to be missed, the successful care manager will work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
