The Role The Social Media and Content Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution and coordination of website content and social marketing programs and projects. He/she/they will be a skincare obsessed, creative and well-organised social media-minded individual who has a growing understanding of social media as a marketing service, interest in crafting content and familiarity with social platform utility. The ideal candidate will have proven success developing and executing new website campaigns and social media activations whilst showcasing competency with copywriting and a journalistic flair for skincare. Responsibilities Plan and execute creative and diverse content campaigns – large and small – to achieve goals agreed with the company’s brand strategies. Plan and manage the company content calendar across all platforms. Produce copy, manage contributing copywriters and maintain brand tone of voice for all content campaigns, launches and projects within the digital and social space. Schedule daily content to ensure a complete social content calendar whilst identifying industry changes and reacting swiftly with content to maintain relevancy. Source new talent to contribute pieces regularly for online editorial content. Develop and maintain relationships with contributing brands, writers and creative partners. Measure the success of content campaigns to ensure strategic decisions are made for future campaigns. Engage with our audiences across platforms to maintain conversation with KOL’s, industry experts, customers and followers daily. Qualifications Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in day-to-day social media management and website content creation, preferably in the beauty arena. Knowledge of brands and the industry is preferred, but not essential. Channel copywriting and calendar management is essential. Must have impeccable spelling and grammar. Experience within a team environment – you will be collaborating with everyone in the team to meet deadlines and develop campaigns. Must be a critical thinker and possess proven problem-solving skills. Overall social knowledge of platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Tik Tok and more. Previous knowledge of social media analytics and scheduling software (Sprout Social, Databox, Google Analytics, Facebook/Twitter Insights, etc.) would be welcome.
