Destinations: Val d’Isère, Tignes, Courchevel, La Plagne, Méribel, Les Deux Alpes, Courmayeur, Zell am See and St Anton We are actively seeking to recruit Chalet staff to come work in our superb chalet hotels located in top European ski resorts. Whether you are looking for a short-term challenge or a career in the travel industry, Mark Warner offers a rewarding adventure and some fantastic opportunities. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper and Restaurant Manager this diverse role offers ample of opportunity to work both front and back of house. You’ll ensure high standards are maintained within all guest areas whilst being flexible and adapting to new responsibilities that will see you assisting in the restaurant to cleaning guest rooms. It’s not all work and no play though! You could learn a new sport, get out on the mountain or explore exciting new places with like-minded friends. We’ve a strong management team that provides on-going support and training. There’s a development programme for career progression with the prospect to work year-round in one of our Mediterranean beach resorts during the summer months. Our winter programme operates from December through to April. Main Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and tidy guest rooms, restaurant, serving stations and all public areas Assist with laundry services include washing, drying and ironing bedding and kitchen linen Carry out a deep clean of guest rooms and public areas Serve breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals in a warm, friendly manner Prepare and replenish buffets, clear and clean tables Create and deliver a warm welcoming and friendly environment within the hotel Ensure Mark Warner’s high standards are maintained at all times Cover Customer Services during off-peak hours (smaller hotels) Assist with all additional duties deemed necessary to ensure the smooth and effective running of the hotel Abilities and Skills Hard working Present a ‘can do’ attitude Ability to work individually or as part of a team Confident and professional with a calm friendly demeanour Organised, self-starter Proactive Essential Requirements Previous management experience in housekeeping, waiting or guest relations Positive, flexible attitude UK/EU Passport holder UK National Insurance Number UK bank account Package and Benefits Return travel to/from UK Medical insurance Comfortable accommodation All meals Discounted drinks and beauty treatments (dependent on resort) Lift pass, ski equipment hire and discounted lessons for beginners Smart uniform Holiday concessions for friends and family A competitive salary Comprehensive training Opportunity to work year-round Management development
