Role: Chief Information Officer Location: London ROLE MISSION The Chief Information Officer is someone who can take our IT infrastructure to the next level and also help us evolve the tools we offer to our disparate client teams around the world. You will be the company-wide face of the IT department, focused on rapidly improving business processes and the builder of the company's IT infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of the business. THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF... You are someone able to interact with gravitas and confidence at the C-suite level, be current on developments in the information technology sector, have deep information technology experience, a penchant for innovation, a service provider mindset, and possess a broad understanding of what it takes to incrementally advance information technology capabilities, manage change across a rapidly growing global user base, provide ever improved service to stakeholders and simultaneously find ways to save the organization money. ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer Global Markets, you will be a part of the IT team WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE Keep the organization safe in terms of data and information security Ensure information and critical systems are accessible and available Provide world-class SLA-based global 24x7 user support Increase efficiency and reduce non-discretionary IT spending as a percent of revenue year over year Optimize our home-grown system (OMG) as the nerve center for the business and remain a differentiator for us in the market Improve enterprise system integration and usability Cultivate beneficial vendor/partner relationships Obtain and retain key information security accreditations Futureproofour internal systems Maximize the value clients and employees get from our technology Reactive to proactive support; identifying and fixing issues before users are aware and get ahead of risks before they become issues Help us be a world leader in production automation Continue to improve the reputation of our IT team within the company and up-level the communications to the broad team Further enhance the lines of communication between the tech teams and their stakeholders in terms of pain points, needs, roadmaps, etc. Establish, meet and continue to tighten the tolerance on SLAs Streamline data architecture and increase the ability to derive useful insights Appropriately leverage offshore for flexibility and redundancy WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 15+ years of global enterprise IT management experience. Degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field or equivalent industry experience. Commercial acumen. People management (direct and influence) experience across disparate teams around the world. Experience introducing and building organizational capability. Ability to think differently and come up with innovative solutions to unique problems. Experience in product management and innovation management. Engaging communicator to all levels of stakeholders. Demonstrable experience managing in a crisis and to very tight timelines. Curious and interested in technology and think first about how technology can be at the heart of an organizational operating model. Bonus Skills / Experience: You enjoy being organized and have honed these skills over your career. Marketing services agency experience. Client facing experience. In-house agency experience.
