\n\n \n\n Job Description \n\n \n\n \n \n\n We currently own 2 hotels in Milton Keynes, part of the Accor brand and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-driven Cluster sales Manager with a proven track record in the hotel sector, incuding corporate and group clientel . To succeed in this role you will need to be self-motivated, organised and able to develop strong business relationships, so networking skills and the ability to follow through are key. In addition, you will:\n\n \n\n · Actively participate in all aspects of sales, focusing on all revenue streams working to specific revenue targets\n\n \n\n · Key account management of existing clients\n\n \n\n · Driving and exceeding individual room night / revenue goals\n\n \n\n · Develop and maintain new client relationships and opportunities\n\n \n\n · Active in organising assigned events (i.e. Fam trips, offsite promotions, etc.) and complete within established time frames and approved budgets.\n\n \n\n · Promote and maintain exceptional knowledge of the groups portfolio of businesses: history, business operations, services offered, amenities, to support continual promotion of both hotels\n\n Planning, organising, supporting and participating in the strategic plan and assisting in the creation of the annual sales plan. Produce targeted sales action plans on a quarterly and annual basis Produce a commercial plan that accurately interprets the objectives of the business and maps out the actions and strategies required within the market place to support the positioning of the hotel. Use this to focus own and team efforts across all market segments. Work with the General Manager and Revenue team to continuously align and devise strategies and tactics to retain and grow the business and support revenue maximisation. Work with the Revenue team and General Manager to continuously research competitor properties to obtain market and rate intelligence and an understanding of business trends, the competition and their key accounts. Utilize this intelligence to develop strategic plans to ensure the business remains competitive in the market place and to identify potential business to target. Attend and help drive quarterly Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) and monthly Hotel Strategy meetings. Have ownership and responsibility for agreed outputs from these meetings. \n\n · Establish, build and manage relationships with the Accor Key Account Directors/Managers to maximise revenue opportunities from key national accounts who have requirements in the area.\n\n \n\n · Become fully conversant with all Accor sales initiatives and tools, so as to utilise and build them into the commercial plan to maximize the benefits to the hotel.\n\n \n\n · Research potential new accounts, conduct telesales calls, plan appointments and carry out weekly face to face sales appointments in line with agreed targets.\n\n \n\n · Prepare account development plans to ensure maximum share from each account and agency.\n\n \n\n · Identify and secure appropriate group, tour operator and wholesale business by working with Accor account managers and also directly\n\n \n\n · Plan and execute sales trips to major market areas.\n\n \n\n · Attend major travel functions and exhibitions to promote sales for the hotel.\n\n \n\n · Support the hotel General Manager to ensure effective data capture and database management processes and systems are in place for the hotel.\n\n \n\n · Identify and target local leisure attractions to develop mutually beneficial affiliations and partnerships.\n\n \n\n · Perform account reviews on a quarterly and annual basis to make sure the hotel gets the most from LNR accounts\n\n \n\n · Maintain extensive market and product knowledge and work with each hotel in adapting products and services to match client requirements and business trends.\n\n Maintain rapport and reward loyalty through entertaining top producing clients as required. When entertaining clients, remember you are at all times representing the business and your behaviour must display this. Work with the hotel General Manager and key hotel team members to strengthen current relationships within the local community.
