Brand new Copywriter role working for Your.MD, This is a mid level role for an experienced marketing copywriter with strong writing, editing and proofreading skills and experience.

  • Ensure the existing brand voice is consistently executed across written media
  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver end-to-end communications for the full user journey inclusive of digital ads, onboarding emails, push notifications, editorial emails and engagement campaigns
  • Write and edit relevant website & interface copy to ensure a consistent voice and market nuances (website copy, social bios, company collateral)

Your.MD is now looking for a confident, proactive and accomplished marketing copywriter to join its ambitious team. This newly-created role will be responsible for writing engaging, informative and on-brand copy for the company’s marketing channels.

This is a full-time in-house role.

  • Clearly define and enforce the brand voice and execute across written media
  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver end-to-end communications for the full user journey inclusive of digital ads, onboarding emails, push notifications, editorial emails and engagement campaigns
  • Write and edit relevant website & interface copy to ensure a consistent voice and market nuances (website copy, social bios, company collateral)
  • Partner with the growth team to establish and test best-in-class and on-brand acquisition campaigns
  • Work closely with PR agency and corporate communications to review press releases, commercial sales pitches, investor / executive documents
  • Develop innovative ways to repurpose content from Your.MD’s platforms for promotional use across our marketing channels
  • Work closely with the content and marketing teams, delivering and executing fresh ideas to communicate the company’s mission to a global audience
  • Dissect medical guidance and information and repurpose into easy to understand copy for a global audience, where English may not be the first language
  • Proofread all copy and messaging, ensuring that it adheres to brand and quality guidelines
  • Source appropriate imagery to accompany copy and disseminate content in a timely manner on the website and via key social media channels
  • Work as part of a dynamic team and carve your own space within a fluid working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experince of digital writing and editing experience in a similar role
  • Excellent copywriting skills, a creative flair and a versatile writing style that allows you to easily create different types of content
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an excellent command of the English language - you should be obsessed with spelling and grammar, but you also embrace new ways of using the language
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content that resonates with its intended reader
  • Excellent understanding of medical concepts and an ability to transform complex medical jargon into words that a lay audience can easily understand
  • An advanced degree in English, journalism (including NCTJ qualification), life sciences, or any healthcare-related field
  • A self-motivated, pragmatic and innovative team-player
  • Creative versatility to produce a wide range of copy, from UX microcopy to email newsletters, blog posts and corporate messaging
  • An understanding of UI/UX and experience working with product designers and developers
  • Curiosity fuels your creativity: you enjoy figuring out how/what in your copy works or doesn’t and use that to craft even better messages
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • A keen desire to help others through your work
