Customer Service/ Admin Apprentice
Job Description This business have been established in Daventry for 30 years and specialise in the manufacture and assembly of tubes, fabrications and pipes. Typically the parts produced are used in the automotive industry. A fantastic opportunity has become available for a trainee to join the administration team. Key duties will include: * Assisting with general office duties such as data entry and letter writing using Microsoft Office and bespoke computer system * Booking in of orders from the factory * Printing customer delivery/ despatch notes * Printing invoices and emailing/ posting to customers * Ordering of sub-contracted parts * Printing bar-code and part number labels * Producing works orders for the shop floor, updating the manufacturing system when jobs are completed * Matching drawings to orders numbers and preparing the correct information for the production team The successful candidate must have good IT skills but most importantly excellent attention to detail and accuracy. The company are looking for a candidate that has a good telephone manner and communication skills, someone personable, reliable, approachable, determined and ambitious. Due to the busy working environment, whilst adequate training will be given, the successful applicant must be willing to work on their own initiative but also have the ability to work under instruction. A car driver or someone living locally to the business in Daventry would be desirable. This role would be ideal for a candidate keen to complete a Level 2 Customer Service apprenticehsip.
