Learn more about how Baxter is At the Intersection of Saving and Sustaining Lives. Summary We are currently looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to work from our Baxter Cheadle site. This role will involve order entry and some dispensing of prescriptions for specialist therapies for patients at home. Additional duties will involve patient stock takes and general admin including prescription management and invoicing. Working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm., Monday to Friday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inbound and outbound calls Prescription receipt Small volume and large volume product order entry on the PMR Prescription management/tracking of faxes Patient stock take Homecare delivery planning/phoning - advising of delivery/timeslots/ clinical waste collection Prescription checklist management (co-ordinator sections only) Liaison with Nursing team Prescription receipt, accurate and timely entry on PMR (entry on PMR and order creation within 30 minutes) Accurate dispensing - this will include timely reporting of near misses and dispensing errors (immediate reporting of dispensing errors to RP or operations manager) Maintain patient confidentiality at all times Patient stock take for any treatment Administrative tasks including archiving and invoicing Adhered to standard operating procedures and follow instructions from the RP, duty pharmacist or operations manager Education & Experience The person should have completed or be seeking to complete an approved dispensary assistants' course NVQ2 or 3. (Full training will be provided) Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, mainly Excel, Outlook and Word Experience of working in a pharmacy would benefit the candidate, but not mandatory Office skills are essential #IND-UKOPS Reasonable Accommodations Baxter is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
