We are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated individual with considerable experience of managing governance, patient safety and risk management at a senior level in a large, complex healthcare organisation. You will be an experienced clinician with a track record of developing, embedding and driving improvements in quality governance. The post will report to the Chief Nurse and will lead the Governance Support Unit that consists of: 1. Risk and patient safety 3. Clinical effectiveness & CQC 4. Health & safety 5. Divisional Governance teams You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in managing patient safety, clinical effectiveness, health and safety and compliance. You will provide leadership and direction and effective management to directly managed staff and other identified team members within the agreed scope of responsibility, and provide pertinent up-to-date professional advice and expert knowledge to the Chief Nurse and senior management teams to support the successful delivery of corporate, professional, operational and clinical objectives.
