DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer Chelmsford Opportunity to join an established, yet expanding, software company based in Chelmsford. You will have the opportunity to come onboard after the formation of a new Cloud team within their technology function, working on an exciting Cloud based software application. The successful candidate will work closely with the Agile software development team and adjoining support team, responsible for ensuring high availability, accesibility, and scalability of their cloud based SaaS application. Due to the nature of this role, we're looking for candidate who can demonstrate strong software development and engineering knowledge, ideally acquired through a degree qualification. We are looking for a self-starter, someone with the ambition of working in a highly collaborative environment, and can thrive in an ever evolving team. The role will effectively be responsible for making sure it's 'business as usual' for our client's customer base, so you'll need to take pride in providing a high level of service. In this role, you will learn/use: Automation tools such as Jenkins CI/CD Container management using Docker and Kubernetes Scripting using the likes of Python and JavaScript Cloud Infrastructure This is a brilliant role for someone who wants to learn, be given responsbility, and feel integral to a team.
