Closing Date - 16/12/2020 As a nationwide festival of creativity and innovation digital will be central to the delivery and promotion of Festival UK* 2022's commissioned programme. As Digital Communications Manager you will ensure the festival maximises the potential of digital to engage with millions of people globally.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of a dynamic and creative strategy, which maximises the potential of digital and social platforms to communicate to diverse audiences across the UK and globally and reflects the creativity and innovation that are at the heart of Festival UK* 2022.
Create and procure imaginative digital content to support the promotion of the Festival to audiences and stakeholders, across the UK and internationally, identifying opportunities for the Festival to utilise new and emerging technologies.
Establish the framework for cross-nation digital collaboration and content integration.
Develop and maintain project plans for all digital communications activities.
Work with the Director of Audiences, Marketing Manager and Strategic Communications Manager to ensure the festival maximises the team's approach to CRM.
Communicate developments in digital marketing and identify opportunities where Festival UK* 2022 can maximise digital in the delivery of strategic campaigns.
Working as part of the wider team, shape the overall vision and direction of Festival UK* 2022 as a nationwide celebration of creativity and innovation that will reach millions of people globally.
Skills and Experience Required

Essential

Diploma, degree and/or relevant professional industry experience.
Significant experience of working in digital communications.
Proven experience of working on innovative digital campaigns
Desirable

Experience gained in a digital agency environment.
Industry qualification or evidence of relevant professional development.
Experience of developing communications aimed at large-scale audiences.
