Salary & Package: £40000k - £45000k + Bonus + Car Allowance + 10% Pension + Medical/Life Insurance + Holidays

The Company
My client is very well established in providing a wide range of forensic investigation services and root cause analysis for the insurance and risk management industries as well as the legal profession. They have offices in the UK & abroad with experienced scientists and engineers undertaking investigations worldwide.
The Role
Digital Forensics is a specialised and rapidly growing field of investigation. Digital investigations can take place both through the remote analysis of data, as well as through on-site forensic imaging. You will use industry standard software to collect original evidence, as well as forensically authenticate and preserve it. Through review and determination of events, you will discover the source of an attack or digital event, how it occurred, and what information may have been lost or compromised.
Key Responsibilities of the role (including, but not limited to;)
Collecting and handling digital evidence
Using Cellebrite and carrying out mobile device review
Email collection and email compromise investigation
Reviewing document metadata
Understanding CCTV systems and recovery
Using forensic review platform like FTK
Communicating with clients regularly
Preparing reports for Court proceedings
Providing Expert Witness evidence in Court
Ideally, you will;
Have attained a good honours degree (ideally a 1st) in Digital Forensics or Computer Science
Have gained several years of postgraduate experience
Extensive knowledge of Cellebrite
Awareness of email header information
Be able to complete a day’s site work including some physical exertion
Have the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, to others less informed than yourself
Be prepared to work unpredictable hours, as and where the work demands
Be able to drive and own your own vehicle
