Job Advert for NHS is a fixed Term contract until: 31st March 2021Due to the increased activity into our Clinical Co-Ordination Centres (CCC) during this global pandemic; we are looking to recruit an additional Director of Operations (CCC) to support the demand on our services.The Director of Operations (CCC) will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of both our 111 and 999 Services within the contact centres across the Trust, they will ensure all services are managed to a very high quality and meet the needs of the communities we serve as well as being responsible for performance standards and clinical outcome measures. Main respons the Director of Operations (CCC) you will have overall accountability for all elements of service delivery across our CCC (111 and 999) directly reporting to Chief Operating Officer (COO).You will review the budget management to include budget setting, budget review, budget management information aligned with agreed key performance indicators (KPIs), performance management and line management responsibilities of the senior team.Have full accountability for safety, quality and education across CCC.Strategically work on the development of CCC workforce plans.Develop, design and delivery of all strategic change including new business opportunities and single point of access models.Form collaborative working relationship with SCAS Directors external healthcare partners/CCGs.Deliver a sustained performance improvement in KPI’s including employee engagement and retention.The Director of Operations (CCC) will be expected to demonstrate a range of skills and attributes experience of working at senior managerial level.Significant experience of developing, leading and managing Contact Centres, either within the public or private sector preferably in a clinical setting.Knowledge of Government policy with regard to the development of NHS Services in an emergency or urgent / unscheduled care setting and GP out of hours and national 111 standards of delivery.Demonstrable experience of management of complex budgets.Proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire others, commanding the confidence of managers, staff and other professionals and by developing a strong ethos of team working within the department.Ability to relate Government 111 targets and initiatives to specific Trust priorities.
