Becoming a Domiciliary Carer means you would visit people with a broad spectrum of physical and learning difficulties in their own homes. Every resident is different and that means your days will be incredibly varied. Each person has different requirements and you’d have the rewarding job of helping them get the most out of every day. More About The Job… Workforce have partnered with one of the UK’s leading care providers. They need people to help them cover shifts which run from 7am – 10pm. Your work will be spread across 30 hours a week, and you’ll typically get your rotas 3 weeks in advance so you can plan your work-life balance well. Everything you do will count. You can make a real difference. You’ll help with: - Serving meals - General housekeeping duties - Light healthcare assistance - Entertainment – for example, helping your residents keep occupied by playing games and having chats with them This is a job for a real “people-person” and one thing’s for sure - every day will be different and rewarding it’s a “proper” career too. Once you’re up-to-speed there’s no reason why, with hard work and passion, you can’t move up the ladder, earn more qualifications on the climb and develop towards more senior healthcare positions.
