ECC Veterinary Surgeon (Night Vet)

Site specifics We have a great opportunity for a night veterinary surgeon to join our not-for-profit 24/7 surgery in Shrewsbury. The surgery has a high caseload of sick and injured animals meaning the workload is interesting and engaging. You'll be working in a bright and modern iconic glass building in a desirable location in the centre of Shrewsbury, overlooking the River Severn. In common with all Animal Trust services our emergency provision is affordably priced in order to give facilitate good access to good quality care regardless of the time of day or night. This is a great opportunity for someone who not only wants to develop as a vet but also wants to be instrumental in developing a not-for-profit 24/7 service for the people and pets of Shropshire. Core Skills To be successful in this role you’ll have a social heart, be highly skilled, and keen to progress your technical capability. You may already be an experienced vet, but it's important that you’re a real team player that enjoys the buzz that comes from working in a fast-paced and busy environment. You’ll share our vision for working within a not-for-profit environment and you’ll be keen to work as part of a highly skilled and experienced team and commit to providing the highest standard of care to owners and their pets.
