R13 Recruitment are currently working alongside a National Charity who provide employment support for the long term unemployed. We are currently aiding in the recruitment of an Employability Key Worker to join their team in Essex. The purpose of this role will be to ensure that participants receive regular, intensive and high-quality support to help them move into sustainable employment. The suitable candidate will be a confident communicator, with previous experience within the employment, training or recruitment sector. Your duties will include: • Assessing the support and development needs to those referred to the service. • Helping participants to produce action plans and facilitating the execution of such plans. • Tailoring your approach and delivering a range of support to individuals with multiple and complex barriers to employment. • Supporting participants to make improvements to their health and wellbeing. • Engaging with local employers to source potential employment opportunities. • Sourcing work experience and job vacancies using a variety of mediums. • Providing advice and guidance to employers to improve inclusive employment practices. • Carrying out appropriate workplace Health & Safety assessments. • Taking a lead on a variety of activities including group sessions and one to one meetings etc.. • Undertaking activities to ensure participants maintain their employment, these could include reviews with the participant and their employer. • Effectively managing your caseload of participants. You will have/be: • Previous experience in a similar role supporting those with complex needs into and during employment. • An understanding of the barriers to employment and helping individuals overcome these. • Experience in caseload management. • Previous experience working to targets within the employment, training or recruitment sector. • Strong communication skills and motivational skills. • Confident in liaising with employers. • A passion to make a positive difference in the lives of others. • Outstanding customer service skills, both internal and external. • Knowledge of the labour market within the Essex area. • The ability to manage your own workload with diverse and changing priorities. • All round ICT competency levels, able to learn bespoke systems with training. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Please Note, you will be required to undertake and pass a CRB check** The salary offered is competitive and dependant on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including; 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, enhanced pension scheme, death in service, enhanced maternity, funded team activity days, professional development opportunities and travel is expensed at 40p per mile + parking if necessary.
