Our client is a very highly regarded City of London firm with a strong reputation for advising a client list comprising well-known brands from the technology, fintech and fashion industries. The firm was started by Partners from much larger firms determined to take their clients to a platform where they could continue to provide them with high quality legal advice in a more bespoke environment.
Due to growing client demand, they are looking for an additional mid-level (likely 3-6 PQE) Employment Associate who can demonstrate high quality experience of:
Drafting, negotiating and advising on employee contracts, employee handbooks and other employee related documentation;
Advising on dismissals, disciplinary processes, grievances and other employee relations issues;
Working as part of a team on tribunal and High Court litigation; and
Advising on TUPE and other employee related matters associated with business restructures, sales and purchases.
The successful candidate will most likely have 3-6 years’ post-qualification experience gained from a recognized Employment team in a City, West End, high quality regional, or international firm. Many of our client's Partners and Associates have joined from far larger international law firms, drawn by high quality work and clients, and a far more friendly and personal working style.
If you’re successful, you’ll be encouraged to take on a high level of responsibility in terms of the day to day management of your case load (always with excellent partner supervision where appropriate). You’ll be client facing on a daily basis, and also involved in business development activities with a view to developing client relationships.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a high quality Employment lawyer.
