Capita is looking for an EUC Engineer - This role is home based . Our EUC Engineers are responsible for being part of a project team, working with End User Computing (EUC) and related technologies. They will work either at home or at customers sites supporting the deployment of new EUC solutions. As a result, this role may require nationwide travel. As this role is part of the wider Infrastructure team, there is a clear career roadmap for progression into Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture positions within the wider team. There is opportunities to upskill in the newest cloud technologies and obtain industry certifications. Responsibilities: The main responsibilities are detailed below, although the post holder would also be expected to perform any other duties which might reasonably be required by the business. Build and configure laptops, PCs and mobile devices Install and configure Office 365 Provide user support to a wide range of customers either in person or working remotely Take ownership for technical delivery Assist Architects and Technical Specialists with technical design solutions Work closely with all departments to ensure project and service delivery meet customer expectations Work closely with Practice colleagues to assist in the continual development of the team Maintain up to date technical knowledge in the EUC space All employees are responsible for Abiding by Capita's security policy & procedures as set out in the Employee Handbook, and implementing security directives from relevant managers (for example Senior Managers, HR & IS Managers) from time to time Reporting all incidents and concerns, no matter how small the potential threat Delivery of technical solutions in line with design documents, customer requirements and expectations Building and maintaining relationships with customers Essential Knowledge and experience of: Build and deployment of laptops and desktop PCs Microsoft Windows 2010 Microsoft Office 365 Office 365 Licensing and administration. Microsoft System Centre Suite 2016 - Configuration Manager - Current Branch Operating System Deployments - Windows 10 Microsoft Intune Integration - MDM & PC Management Strong technical background Strong commitment to customer service What's in it for you?
