A school in Stockport is seeking Exam Invigilators to aid the school during their busy exam period.

This presents itself as a great opportunity to gain invaluable secondary school experience.

Applications are welcomed from:

Those who are retired or semi retired.

Those who have prior experience invigilating.
Individuals who are currently out of work and require opportunities to earn money during this time.
The roles and responsibilities of an Invigilator include:

Distributing Exam Papers.
Maintaining Exam Conditions at all times.
Keeping time of exams.
Organising the exam hall.
Managing any student enquiries.
There may be some expectation to work as a scribe for students with SEN – therefore, a solid grasp of the English language is essential.

It is also imperative that the individuals required are able to project adequately in order to ensure students are aware of the strict expectations within the exam hall.

Teaching Personnel organise the invigilation for schools across the Greater Manchester, particularly in the following areas:

Manchester City Centre
Stockport
Salford
Stretford
Wythenshawe
Whalley Range
Pay for this work is £10.00 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
