Samworth Brothers has a passion for people and currently employs approximately 1100 members of staff at its dedicated manufacturing facility in Melton Mowbray. Critical to the success of Samworth Brothers are the individuals we employ; we currently have exciting opportunities for individuals to join our production team.

We have positions in the following departments:

Intake - Despatch - High Care - Ingredient Prep- Hygiene

Melton Mowbray

3 Samworth Way, Melton Mowbray LE13 1GA

Multiple Shifts Patterns:

5 days incl (e.g. Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat)

6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm or 10pm - 6am

Some of the key duties would include:

* Operation of automated and semi-automated packing lines

* Palletising and packing products

* Labelling paperwork

* Stocktaking and stock rotation

* Regular lifting

* Ensuring a high standard of GMP and follow the ‘clean as you go’ policy.

The ability to be flexible will be essential as job rotation is applied throughout the departments.

To be successful for this role you will need to possess the following:

* Ability to work with raw and cooked meats

* Physically fit to regularly lift and move racks and products

* Have a high level of motivation

* High quality standards

* The ability to work on your own initiative

* Maximum flexibility

* Excellent communication skills

* A good team player
