More about your role Places for People are modernising their data platform, more specifically, the enterprise data warehouse. This will enable Places for People to improve the provision of its data and services to their customer base, both internal and external. As a result of this, the Business is seeking a new "Group Data Warehouse Architect" to join the Team to help design, support and build the next exciting generation of a modern data and analytical platform. This solution will form the foundations to driving forward advanced analytics. You will have the opportunity to work with modern cloud solutions, and any experience in this is a bonus. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your own capabilities in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you can demonstrate a strong aptitude to learn and apply best practice, with a modern outlook to technology and solutions, as well as the ability to leverage the best from legacy approaches. Therefore, we will consider candidates who are existing hands on data warehouse architects, information architects, strong senior data developers, data warehouse developer, cloud data developers, data engineers as well as those individuals who are ready to step up into a more senior role, we would like to hear from you as well. Any cloud experience is beneficial, but what is more important is your prior experience with designing, building and managing data solutions in a complex environment, whilst adhering to sound design and architectural standards and principles . Hands-on solution data warehouse transition/migration exposure will be a very good bonus. Ideal technical skillset will include some of (but by no means all), SQL Server, Oracle, ETL/ELT, SSIS, Advanced T-SQL skills, PL/SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Google Big Query, TOGAF, DAMA.
