Barts Health NHS Trust Advert for Group Director of Midwifery – Band 9 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Barts Health as the Group Director of Midwifery. This is a prestigious senior leadership opportunity for an exceptional candidate. We are at a critical point in our improvement journey and this role is pivotal to our on-going success. The Group Director of Midwifery reports directly to the Group Chief Nurse and provides professional leadership across the Trust to the midwifery profession and ensures effective midwifery input into the development of the Trust strategy, policies, business planning and quality assurance and improvement. The post-holder will be a key member of the Chief Nurse’s Senior Leadership Team and also the Nursing, Midwifery and AHP Board. They will co-chair the Women’s Health Board and be a key player in the LMS. If you have extensive experience of being a senior midwifery leader who lives our WeCare values and have the ability to work with complexity, across a wide sphere of influence with multiple stakeholders and you have a passion to continuously improve the experience of mothers, babies families and communities then we would like to hear from you.
