Working within our functions departments, you would be supporting all of our business globally. This position will play a significant role is supporting both aspects of this ambition by driving and supporting activities and projects across the Group that will continue to improve the quality and performance of leadership at all levels by supporting the attraction and recruitment of talent to ensure Rentokil Initial has the capabilities it needs to compete and win both now and in the future. The Group Talent team strives to be a small, high performing team that contributes and adds value across the business by being genuinely expert, commercial and practical in the solutions it provides and by collaborating closely with the operating businesses. The role will have exposure to and work closely with line and hiring managers at all levels globally and would therefore suit somebody with the assurance and judgement to operate at senior levels when required and the drive and potential to move into more senior talent and/or HR roles in the future. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Recruitment and talent acquisition support including direct hiring, interviewing and psychometric testing, manager training, ATS and careers site optimisation including: - Consult on and deliver end to end recruitment activity for Group functional roles and other roles globally across the group, both through direct recruitment or recruitment agencies where appropriate. Reduce the company's spend on external recruitment agencies by being an expert in directly sourcing online, utilising resume databases and social networks and recruiting high quality candidates for open positions. - Leverage and enhance Rentokil Initial's reputation as an employer of choice in order to better attract high quality candidates. This may include for example building RI's reputation and presence as a great place to work through social media and online recruitment channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Glassdoor etc) or developing content and collateral (e.g. blogs, videos etc) to target specific candidate and skill groups such as digital, graduates, female leaders, finance etc. - Use our careers portal and talent network tools to drive greater visibility of career opportunities to existing employees, thereby facilitating an increase in internal job moves and reducing career development-related turnover. Ensure better use of our employees as active recruiters e.g. driving employees to promote vacancies through their own social media networks and implementing effective employee referral programmes where appropriate. - Project manage and support the rollout of group tools to the business where appropriate, for example helping implement ATS system and career page content working with internal marketing and web teams and liaising with local in country HR / recruitment frontline employees. - Continue to develop best practices and consider new tools and processes to deliver improvements across the full recruitment cycle from resourcing, candidate engagement, assessment, selection and onboarding - Support the wider talent team projects and activities where required. Requirements About You - Demonstrable substantial experience in a high performing internal talent acquisition team in a highly matrixed, large company environment that is seen as leading edge; can personally demonstrate a track record of deliverables that have made a significant impact on the business. - Experience of recruitment, including attraction campaigns, best practice interviewing techniques, digital recruitment channels and assessment centres. - Experienced in the use of different tools and assessments to support development. - Supplier management skills and experience of working with, creating or reviewing a PSL would be useful - Commercial agency experience would be advantageous - International recruitment experience would also be of great benefit - Hold a degree or equivalent level qualification PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS -Strong customer focus and moves at pace to respond to customer needs. Has a strong desire to work hard to go the extra mile and over-deliver on commitments. - Commercially minded, seeks out ways to make things more effective and makes sound decisions that benefit the business and demonstrate ROI. - Data savvy, comfortable with metrics, good analytical skills and able to position the benefits of activities in both quantitative and qualitative terms. - Has worked in a highly matrixed environment with a strong requirement to collaborate and influence extensively to get things done. - Able to work well independently as well as within a team, taking the initiative and comfortable with ambiguity. - Strong project management skills with good attention to detail. Able to plan and execute multiple initiatives and manage multiple projects at the same time. - Comfortable in their own skin, positive, upbeat, straightforward, open to new ideas and experiences and acknowledges the contribution of others. - Creative and curious about new technologies, embraces digital, looks for innovative new ways of doing things and doesn't rely on the tried and trusted. - A good communicator who simplifies complexity, engages proactively with stakeholders and builds rapport and influence at all levels. REPORTING LINE, KEY RELATIONSHIPS AND LOCATION The role reports to the Group Talent Acquisition Manager The role holder will be required to work closely and build strong relationships with: Group and Regional HR teams, specifically Regional talent, learning and performance and Recruitment leads. Operational functional managers and hiring managers at senior levels around the world External suppliers and providers as required to create and deliver learning and talent solutions. The role is usually based in either our Camberley or Gatwick offices, although currently is based remotely, working virtually from home. Before Covid it was based in Camberley, with the flexibility to work across both the Camberley and Gatwick offices and virtually. Meetings may be held in either location and so a commutable distance to either is preferable. This is a Group role and is global in nature, therefore some travel will be required as well as the flexibility to work across time zones when required.
