About Admiral Pioneer Admiral Pioneer is a new entity within Admiral Group with the objective of seeding, launching and scaling new businesses in areas of increasing societal importance (for example Mobility, Future of Work and Life Transitions). These businesses will become one of the growth engines for Admiral in the 10-year time frame. Summary of the Role We’re looking for someone who is: A strategic marketer with hands-on start-up / scale-up experience Has created a marketing organisation / set of capabilities from scratch Experienced in a variety of disciplines including data-driven communications, digital/social media, PR, and partnership development Deeply interested in creating new and disruptive B2C businesses Flexible, passionate and motivated by a start-up / scale-up environment – we’re a young start-up so you’ll be working on lots of exciting new concepts About the Role We are looking for a forward-thinking, analytically minded, and experienced marketer to join our team. The Growth Lead will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing strategies for new Admiral Pioneer businesses. The role requires developing a holistic understanding of each business. You will then build, and drive efficiency and effectiveness of the customer funnel, by helping each business set their roadmap and constant testing. In doing so, you will drive both short-term and long-term customer and commercial impact. Admiral Pioneer growth is dependent on successful multi-channel marketing embracing a variety of disciplines: Brand creation and development Customer engagement and relationship management Data-driven advertising and marketing communications Digital/social media presence and optimisation PR community build and management Partnership development and support The successful candidate will report to the Admiral Pioneer CEO and work closely with business owners, Head of Design, and other functions, to ensure the successful development of the best customer proposition and experience. The ideal candidate will be not just technically proficient, but also a high-energy ‘make things happen’ type of person. You can disseminate complex data and make this interesting and engaging to others. You have the need and proven experience to get stuff done. |Knowledge and Abilities Deep understanding and interest in consumers, and the adoption, engagement, and growth of new propositions Commercial experience ideally in start-up/scale-ups Familiar with user-centred design methodologies, rapid prototyping, and learning by launching Proficient in relevant marketing methodologies and tools Adept in data-driven marketing including use of CRM (e.g. Salesforce, social and influencer marketing) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences You value collaboration and being part of a new team You are passionate and will be a brand ambassador You are keen to roll your sleeves up, get involved, and help us build a successful company and attractive culture |Experience​ 5+ years of experience in product and/or digital marketing (ideally leading a small team) Experience in: Driving new consumer brand development Advertising and marketing communications Digital/social media presence and optimisation PR community build and managing partnerships Driving customer/market research and analysis Multi-industry B2C experience Minimum of a degree in Marketing or related area Relevant start-up/scale-up experience in a consumer market(s) Additional Information The Growth Lead will report directly to the Admiral Pioneer CEO.
