As we expand our property portfolio, we need more people with the right mix of skills and passion to ensure that our homes are kept well maintained and safe. As the Handy Person you will take pride in the Home that you maintain, including the surrounding gardens. You will get to know our residents and their families, and you will let them get involved in helping you to maintain their home. You will be responsible for key tasks such as the maintenance of heating and lighting, the overall fabric of the building, regular checks on the boiler and water systems and completing all the relevant health and safety checks.What experience do you need?You will have previous experience in a role such as a caretaker where practical skills are a requirement, alongside a positive attitude and commitment to providing a well maintained environment in line with Health & Safety regulations. You will be confident working on your own initiative; prioritising your work schedules, whilst in turn; good communication skills and team orientated.What will you get in return?You'll be working for one of the largest not for profit care providers in the UK.
