Our continued success depends on it!Position role is responsible for the community advocacy strategy, and leading community (professional or patient) and partner advocacy programs in countries where The Omnipod® System is available. This includes governance of in-country Advocacy activities in Europe, and the development strategic external alliances in both the short and long term, incorporating International Partnership Agreements. These alliances should actively engage key stakeholders (including patients, providers, families, thought leaders and nonprofit organizations) to build the brand recognition of Omnipod® in Europe, supporting commercial goals and facilitate meaningful and sustainable partnerships.Key Responsibilities: Develop and leverage relationships with patient and professional European & International communities to define and articulate value and preference.Establish strong and enduring external relationships with patients, medical professionals and advocacy organizations to elevate and find solutions for key issues of importance for patients and advocates, including education, and disease awareness. Develop deep insights into capabilities of advocacy organizations and leverage this knowledge to strengthen partnerships.Drive focus around both regional & international associations/events (ATTD, EASD, ISPAD, SWEET) as well as key country-based groups (Diabetes UK, SFD) and align/integrate communication programs.Monitor and build Omnipod® reputation and identity in Europe through engagement with key groups/individuals.Partner with the Marketing team on:Public relations on communications strategies, technology awareness and education campaigns and positioning.Development of a Customer Advocacy Engagement Framework to profile and amplify customer advocacy in the community. Partner cross functionally to develop processes and tools to support Global Advocacy Strategy, including governance, education, and best practice.Partner with US Advocacy team to drive global alignment and processes around global strategy and partnerships.Act as Insulet ambassador at key community advocacy Stakeholder meetings such as Industry Working Groups, Association Meetings and Multi-stakeholder initiatives.Partner with Corporate Communications to champion internal advocacy and external advocacy communications.Education and E ’ Degree or equivalent is required.10 years of experience in advocacy on either medical device or drug related categories – nice to have this experience within diabetes space.Experience working with non-profit organizations including relationship-management expertise, and project management skills.Skills/Competencies: Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills are required with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of people and audiences, and ability to influence without authority.Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.Ability to successfully integrate with cross-functional team members to accomplish commercial goals.Proficient project management skills & organizational ability.Flexible & able to work in a fast-paced environment, with ability to manage multiple priorities.Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities with forward looking perspective.Adept at adapting plans effectively for optimal impact.Ability to connect to the patient experience.This is an external-facing role, so travel to meet partners is required.Notice to Employment / Recruitment is not accepting Employment / Recruitment Agents solicitation.
