A well-established award-winning main contractor within construction is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join the team.
The Role
The Health and Safety Manager will have the opportunity to lead a H&S division on multiple projects for some of London's most exciting developments in the new residential build sector.
Monitoring of all Health and safety performance on various projects, making sure a consistent approach is taken in construction safety across all projects within the portfolio.
Manage and develop QHSE staff to achieve objectives
Manage the documentation and internal audits for all systems
Maintain effective communication and reporting to the Project/site Managers on all matters relating to health and safety.
Ensure that the project under your control is in possession of the relevant health and safety documentation in accordance with the health and safety management system.
Demonstrate leadership in health and safety through positive behaviour.
Ensure that all incidents ad accidents are thoroughly investigated with a suitable report submitted in accordance with procedures
Conduct regular site health and safety visits to ensure that each Site is regularly informed of the health and safety standards and requirements that they are responsible for on a day-to-day basis.The Company

The Person
The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
At least have a minimum of a NEBOSH General or Construction, NCRQ or equivalent
Previous experience working for a main contractor on residential new build projects
Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001
Ideally CMIOSH
Major construction project experience
Excellent communication skillsIn return
