As the Hospital Director of a Barchester Hospital you will be a leading face for the delivery of person-centred care that helps set us apart.
Castle Lodge is a 15 bedded independent hospital that consists of 2 age/gender specific wards and caters for individuals receiving treatment and care for under the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act or as an informal patient.
As a Hospital Director you will have full clinical and commercial control of the service and work to develop a coherent and effective team who provide the quality care our patients deserve. Reporting into the Regional Director you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance in the hospital as well as maintaining occupancy levels by setting out creative marketing strategies and working closely with other external parties.
ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Hospital Director, you’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) and experience of managing a similar service with a passion for mental health. This role calls for excellent leadership, organisational and management skills to build a strong foundation for our hospital. We’re looking for hospital management experience ideally working with patients with enduring and progressive mental health disorders, acquired brain injury, cognitive impairment and complex and challenging behaviour. You should have the confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels and create strong links within the local community. In short, your proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, Good or Outstanding rated hospital will be complemented by your blend of compassion and resilience.
